We are at the level of doing a lot of fine-grained refining on the product as we are moving towards a release and the live launch of the product on some sites. Read on for an update on new stuff and how you can help GetPaid.

GetPaid is definitely in the last 10-20% till the finish line for the release - but it seems like the amount of work to get us to the release, though, is not of equal percentage! There are a lot of things to be done and we hope you all will join in contributing in some way to release process.

Some news

  • there is now ability to change quantities in the cart (thanks matiasb!), get it in the latest tarball (http://code.google.com/p/getpaid/downloads/list ) or buildout
  • we have Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian translations of the product - thanks to all who contributed translations!
  • we are in the process of getting up the product at plonegetpaid.com
  • new documentation has been generated, see http://code.google.com/p/getpaid/wiki/DocumentationHowTosAndTutorials

How can you help?

Glad you asked! Maybe you are hoping to dip into community contributor mode this weekend. Well, GetPaid is a welcome place for you! There are a lot of things that can be done to help at the moment, and we would love to have you take on something.

  • Testing: download the tarball (http://code.google.com/p/getpaid/downloads/list ) and give it a whirl! Take a fine toothed comb to it and file any issues you find on our tracker (http://code.google.com/p/getpaid/issues/list )
  • Translations/i18n: A few more spots in the code need i18n tags, and more translations are always welcome. Please check out http://code.google.com/p/getpaid/wiki/TranslateGetPaid
